Happy Easter

Today started very unusually for the kids. First, they both slept until 8:30. Second, they got up like it was any other day. Third, it took them about 15-20 minutes to even ask if the Easter Bunny came and another 5 minutes before they decided to go look for their baskets. Once he got up Zack took off through the house looking for the baskets. It was funny how he knew exactly which one was his and which one was Alexis'.

But wait, there are 4 baskets. Alexis in all her excitement yells, Look Mommy the Easter Bunny brought you and Daddy a basket too. And so the kids go through their baskets talking about how much they like this and that. When all of a sudden I hear Alexis say, But I didnt get what I really wanted, in her very sad pathetic voice. I handed them the other two baskets, cut off the tops and let them dig in knowing that these baskets held exactly what Alexis wanted from the Easter Bunny. And oh was she sooo excited when she saw what was buried in the basket. The second set baskets was a Nintendo DS for each of them:) The squeels and chatter alone was well worth the wait.
