Wink said, Ok we can leave now:) Next, we made sure to get the kids measured so they could get wristbands that would determine what rides they could go on. Alexis was not a problem. She was obviously in a particular color. Zack was a different story. They guy measured him over and over again and finally determined that he would not be able to give him the 40" armband. He suggested we have one of the rides measure him again. And so we did, and he got his 40" armband like we had hoped. There is a whole other set of rides that having that armband can get you on, but more on that in a little bit:)
And so both kids got to ride on these cars that they could drive around in an area that was set up like a small city. It had lanes, stoplights, stop signs and everything. They really liked them.
And we continued to ride more kiddie rides and then the kids saw one of their other favorite cartoon characters...Scooby Doo.
After lunch we made it to the one ride that I wanted to go on since everyone was tall enough this year...
But a certain little girl did not want to go on it, so the boys rode by themselves. For those of you not familar, The Avalanche is the bobsled ride at KD. It basically goes up a hill and uses momentum to pull a train of cars down and around much like a real bobsled would. And the boys dont just ride the bobsled, they ride it in...
YES, the front row. You can see them below as they are going around one of the turns. I had no idea how Zack was going to react when he got off but he LOVED it!!
And this last picture is the reason it is so hard for me to get a decent shot of the two of them together. I hope you enjoyed:)
