It has been a while since I last posted so I will try to bring everyone up to speed. It is just that busy time of year!!! We have had birthdays and school programs on top of the normal hussle and bussle of the year. I will post some pictures from their school program later.
On to the story from today. The kids and I were coming home from Target (yes it is 5 days before Christmas and I am still shopping) and what did we see!!!! Santa and Mrs. Claus driving down the road!!! I kept pace with them for a few minutes so the kids could see them and they were kind enough to wave to the kids. The kids loved it. AND THEN...the questions started. Zack wants to know where they were going and why. His typical questions. Alexis on the other hand asks the deeper questions. It starts with, Are they going to the North Pole. Well not really I say. So she is content for a few just talking to Zack when out of no where she asks, Was that the fake Santa and Mrs. Claus or the real one? At this point I am telling myself she is only four so how do I explain this one. Well with out even taking a glance at her I simply say, "They had on costumes." For once, she was speechless. Thank God!!
